Terms& Conditions
The terms that apply when you order testing services from Cadence Analytics Lab.
Last updated: June 2026
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or ordering a service through Cadence Analytics Lab, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy and Shipping & Returns policy.
Who We Are
Cadence Analytics Lab is an independent, Canadian analytical testing service. We are not currently accredited under ISO/IEC 17025 or any other formal accreditation body. Accreditation is a stated future phase, not a current claim. We operate as a distributed team and route orders to whichever qualified team member has the instrumentation, availability, and turnaround capacity to handle a given sample.
Research Use Only
Testing services offered by Cadence are intended for research, quality verification, and informational purposes only. Results are not a substitute for medical, clinical, or regulatory advice, and Cadence does not provide medical guidance of any kind. You are responsible for determining whether our testing is suitable for your intended use.
Sample Submission
You are responsible for accurately describing the material you submit for testing, including any relevant identifiers such as claimed compound, batch, or lot number. Submitting a sample for testing does not transfer ownership of the underlying compound or material to Cadence beyond what is consumed during analysis.
Orders and Payment
Orders are placed and paid for online before a sample is submitted. After payment, you receive an order confirmation email with sample submission instructions specific to your order, including the shipping address for that order.
Results and the Certificate of Analysis
Upon completion of testing, we issue a Certificate of Analysis (COA) by email, along with a Task Number and Verification Key that allow the result to be confirmed using the public verification tool on our homepage. Results reflect the specific sample submitted and the testing method used, and do not constitute a guarantee about any other unit, batch, or vial from the same source.
Refunds
Once a sample is received and testing begins, it is consumed in the analytical process and cannot be returned. Refunds are not available once testing has started. Full details are on our Shipping & Returns page.
Shipping and Customs
Cadence accepts samples from Canadian domestic clients and from customers in the United States. Customs clearance and any border risk associated with shipping a sample, in either direction, are the customer’s responsibility. Cadence is not responsible for samples or returned materials held, delayed, or refused entry by customs authorities. Full details are on our Shipping & Returns page.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Cadence Analytics Lab’s liability for any claim relating to our testing services is limited to the amount paid for the specific test in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our results.
Service Availability
Services listed on our site may be paused or limited at our discretion. Where a service is paused, such as cannabis testing, we will indicate this clearly rather than removing the capability from view.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as our services change. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province in which the testing was performed, without regard to conflict of law principles.
